Ms. Tejera is the founder of Talking Steps by Steps and holds a Master’s Degree in Educational Sciences with a specialization in Speech-Language Pathology from the Higher Educational Institute “Enrique José Varona” in Havana, Cuba. She is a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist through the Florida Department of Health. With over 14 years of experience, Ms. Tejera has dedicated her career to providing high-quality speech therapy services to the pediatric population. Her work has positively impacted the lives of many children and their families, particularly within the Hispanic community. Ms. Tejera’s areas of expertise include the assessment and treatment of speech and language disorders in individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down syndrome, and Attention Deficit Disorders.
